A book that all military wives should read..........

As some of you already know.. I'm a singer/songwriter and for the past year have built a moderate fan-base from posting my videos on youtube. Recently, an author named Chrisy Krueger found me on facebook and asked to use my song "soldier's love song" in a trailer for her new book that was just recently published....

This is how I found out about the book " Vino in Vo".. a book about the lives of 3 military wives.

In the first few chapters, I was already in tears. Not because it was depressing and made me sad... but because it is so beautifully written and because I could relate to each of the three wives. I recommend this book to all military wives/girlfriends and to anyone else who just wants to read a good heartwarming book.

Here is a brief description of the book : (www.vinoinvo.com)

Bound by war, set free by friendship.
Intertwined with the love of a soldier and the beauty of true friendship, Vino in Vo follows three Army wives surviving their husbands' tour of Iraq through an unexpected friendship. Stationed in Italy, they uncover a quaint vineyard where they discover what is missing in their lives.
Perry leaves her small Oklahoma town and boards a plane to Italy, but soon after she arrives, war begins and her husband is deployed. For the first time in her life, she finds herself alone in her empty apartment with only her Bible and Daddy's Life Manual.
Jonah is a walking ER bill, but even when her bones aren't broken, her heart is. She believes that her problems stem from the ill-will of others, including God, but when an over-eager friendaholic befriends her, she is forced to face her past and view life differently.

Kristen has never had a 'Lucy and Ethel' friendship because others could not see past her beauty, but when she must give birth inside an Italian hospital, and bare it all to practical strangers, her perfectionist shell begins to crack. It is only with her first sense of friendship that she realizes, Yes, it is all right to use paper plates for dinner.

And about the author's inspiration :  (www.vinoinvo.com)

As a military spouse, Chrisy Krueger has survived two overseas tours, but it was during the struggles of those deployments that she found her inner strength, courage and independence. She used her experiences and wrote Vino in Vo for those in the Military Club--those who live with their cell phone permanently attached to them, those who have babies alone, those who see emails as proof of life, and those who worry about the ring at their door.

Also inspired by the beauty of true friendship, author Chrisy Krueger created three very different, very dynamic characters and seamlessly wove them together, illustrating how we can all better ourselves through our neighbors, no matter how different we think we are from them.
